Millimeter-Wave Microstrip Comb-Line Antenna Array for Automotive Radar

Abstract

This paper presents the design of a 10 ×25 element microstrip comb-line antenna array for 77GHz automotive radar. A 250-elememt array is proposed by using RO3003 substrate with higher gain compare with the series-fed patch antennas in the same size. The simulated gain of the antenna is 24dBi and the side lobe level is below -13 dB at 76.5GHz.
