Interference Analysis and Resource Allocation of Burst Scenario in Massive Machine-Type Communications

Abstract

In this paper, we establish a two-level hierarchical interference model for burst scenarios in massive Machine-Type Communications (mMTC). The first layer is a model between MTC devices (MTCDs) and MTC gateway (MTCG). The burst service of MTCDs is modeled as Beta distribution, and the transmission power of MTCG is controlled by received data, time and distance from base station (BS). The second layer is a model among BS, MTCGs and LTE users. The power control scheme on the first layer is adopted to establish interference and resource allocation models for MTCGs and LTE users. The validity of our models is preliminarily verified by simulation.
