Pulse Width Tunable Passively Q-Switched Fiber Laser with Ptse<inf>2</inf> Saturable Absorber

Abstract

We report a pulse width tunable passively Q-switched fiber laser by using PtSe 2 , a new saturable absorber (SA). The output pulse width could be controlled with the cross absorption modulation (XAM) effect in PtSe 2 .
