A set of automatic water sample filtration and distribution system is proposed for the marine monitoring needs on Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) in this paper. The devices of the system were selected for different specific functions. In order to determine the reliability of the system because of the limited amount of seawater and space size available on USV, the pressure losses and time-consuming calculations were performed. And the water residuals after empting and flushing processes in the system were calculated and analyzed using the Nusselt equation and the Taylor model. The tube design and implementation logic of the system are described in this paper. Finally, the situation of physical structures and tests are introduced.
