Plasmonic metamaterial ultra-broadband absorber from visible to near-infrared

Abstract

The proposed metamaterial broadband absorber enables a nearly perfect absorption with an average absorbance of 95% spanning from visible to near-infrared, showing a 90% absorption bandwidth over 928 nm.
