Il “Sistema 0-6”: (ri)pensare forme di supporto alla genitorialità

Abstract

Abstract – Legislative Decree n. 65/2017 institutes the Integrated Educational System, from the birth to six years. It gives value to the early childhood educational system, unifies two separate services, nursery school (0-3 age) and infant school (3-6 age), and legitimates them as natural contexts for the affective, cognitive and social development in the first years of life of the children. Integrated Educational System is also a strategic way to reduce inequalities, promoting chance of development for families and children. In this new cultural perspective, what’s the role of parenting support? How can educative services empower families in their practices of child-rearing? The paper aims to offer a scientific perspective on the parenting support (in the new “0-6 System”) considered as a real way of adult education. Riassunto – Il Decreto legislativo n. 65 del 13 aprile 2017 ha istituito il Sistema integrato di educazione e di istruzione dalla nascita sino a sei anni, che riconosce la fondamentale valenza educativa dei percorsi prescolari, unificando le due tranche 0-3 (nido di infanzia e servizi prima infanzia) e 3-6 (scuola dell’infanzia), qualificandole come contesti adeguati allo sviluppo affettivo, cognitivo e sociale delle bambine e dei bambini. Il Sistema integrato risponde altresì all’esigenza di contribuire a ridurre le disuguaglianze e le barriere di ogni genere, garantendo opportunità di crescita e realizzazione ai bambini di tutte le famiglie. A fronte di tali importanti e strutturali novità, che spazio ha il supporto alla genitorialità? Come è possibile per i servizi educativi supportare le competenze educative delle famiglie? Il contributo intende proporre una prospettiva scientificamente fondata di riflessione sul supporto alla genitorialità (all’interno della nuova cultura del “Sistema 0-6”), assumendolo come un’autentica modalità di educazione dell’adulto.
