Abstract

There is no denial in the fact that a huge portion of the underwater world whether its seas, oceans or rivers not been explored yet. In recent year, researchers are finding ways to explore and study the underwater resources. The underwater sensor network(UWSN) is the key to explore underwater resources, oceanographic studies, disaster prevention and many more. This paper describes the general architecture of UWSN and about application and challenges in the UWSN in the recent years.
