Strong Structural Controllability of Multi-Agent Systems with Switching Topologies

Abstract

For multi-agent systems, their controllability and structural controllability are the important properties. One or multiple agents are chosen as the leaders referring to these properties. Here, we study the strong structural controllability of multi-agent systems under switching topologies. By analyzing the information flow graph of multi-agent systems, we provide a graphical condition for switched systems. It is that the union graph satisfies input accessible and in-degree conditions for general strong structural controllability. And a necessary condition is derived which schemes the characteristic of subgraphs of the system. At last, we show the efficiency of the condition with some numerical examples.
