Dual-Band Dual-Polarization Transparent Metasurface Design

Abstract

This paper proposes a dual-band dual-polarization transparent metasurface centered respectively at 2.12 GHz and 4.85 GHz. The unit cell of the proposed metasurface is composed of three metallic layers where two intermediate dielectric layers are sandwiched in between. When an incident wave impinges the surface, orthogonal polarizations can be obtained for transmitted waves in the two operation bands. Design details and numerical analysis are presented and discussed.
