Snow Cover Monitoring Algorithm in Northeast China Using FY-2G Satellite Data

Abstract

The multi-temporal geostationary satellite FY-2G was used to reduce the cloud interference. The BRDF models were used in angular correction. An improved snow cover monitoring algorithm combined with geostationary satellite and BRDF model was proposed.
