High Power Resonantly-Diode-Pumped Fiber Laser Based on Er-Nanoparticle-Doped Fiber

Abstract

We report ~140 W of power from the laser based on Er-nanoparticle-doped fiber with direct diode pumping at 1528 nm. This is believed to be the highest power ever reported from resonantly diode-pumped Er-fiber laser.
