Abstract

Abstract Here in this paper, we have developed a new kind of metamaterial unit cell in the shape of a Hindu mythological symbol ‘Swastik’. Here we designed and analyzed the behavior of split ring resonators (SRRs), complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) and microstrip transmission line. Here we also investigated the electromagnetic behavior of microstrip transmission line coupled with metamaterial unit cells. The proposed analysis is useful to design the compact microwave devices and antennas.
