Design of broadband end-fire antenna array

Abstract

A new method of designing a broadband end-fire antenna array is presented in this paper. Wideband radiating elements whose form factor is compatible with the end-fire array configuration are chosen to space along the end-fire axis. The array is adapted for operation over a 3:1 broadside impedance bandwidth and achieves a satisfactory end-fire performance.
