El impacto de la innovación y las finanzas en la competitividad de las PYMEs manufactureras

Abstract

Studies on competitiveness in SMEs, highlight some main factors that affect it. Given the frequency of appearance of innovation and finance among these factors, they have been considered for the realization of this study. For its part, manufacturing industry historically has been one of the most important economic sectors in the State of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Because of that, this research deals with the impact of innovation and finance in the competitiveness of manufacturing SMEs in Aguascalientes. According to this, 206 surveys were applied to those responsible for the administration of this kind of business organizations. The data obtained was used to carry out an analysis of reliability and validity of the scales applied, and also a multiple regression analysis was executed in order to evaluate the correlation between the variables used. The results provide empirical evidence that innovation and finance are important factors in the competitiveness of the companies studied.
