Abstract

Phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating was implemented to enhance the spectral resolution of an AWG from 140pm to ~14pm at 1527.273nm. The compact, integrated spectrometer registers one of the highest resolving powers ~110,000 for NIR astronomy.
