The armed conflict in Colombia had a direct impact on its tourism activity,\nfron the 1990s to the present, and which influenced security, accessibility and\nnational e internacional image of Colombia destinations. Although different\npublic and private measures managed to improve the tourism indicators durante the decade of 2010, the Peace Agreement, signed with FARC guerrilla in 2016,\nposes a new scenario, in which tourism can become one of the most benefited\neconomic sectors, but also tourism can contribute to peace as an instrument of\nsustainable development for the communities most affecte by violence.
