High-efficiency broadband single-photon frequency upconversion

Abstract

We demonstrate broad bandwidth single-photon upconversion of femtosecond pulses at telecom wavelength in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) bulk with high conversion efficiency by pumping with a broad bandwidth laser.
