Tinjauan Hukum Islam Terhadap Jual Beli Dengan Sistem Kredit

Abstract

In the development of the trading system, the payment through credit system has now become an option and the tendency for some consumers in any buying or selling, although the producers or agents also include offerings in cash payment system. For example in the purchase of a motorcycle or a car, there has always been a credit system in banking, even in the simplest transactions like the purchase of household appliances. The ulema (Muslim scholars) basing their lines of thought on Shafi'iyah, Hanafiyah, Malikiyah, Hanabilah, Zaid ibn Ali and the majority of ulema have allowed buying and selling (transaction) on credit at a price that is more expensive than the one of the transaction in cash. In the transaction on credit it is instructed to keep records and involve witnesses over the terms and provisions of the transaction.
