Hybrid leach based cluster head election in wireless sensor networks

Abstract

Wireless sensors are the arrangement of various electronic devices which are capable of detecting, computing, receiving and transmitting the data. These sensors depend on energy which gets drain at a quicker rate because the communication operation and computation are performed by these sensor nodes. Various routing protocols like LEACH, HEED and D-HEED have abilities to attain energy efficiency. In this IH-LEACH protocol is compared with H-LEACH protocoland proved that it is efficient than H-LEACH protocol. Simulations for LEACH, H-LEACH, IH-LEACH are done using MATLAB.
