Attendance tracking using Wi-Fi

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a Wi-Fi-based attendance system for taking attendance. The proposed system takes attendance automatically using password identification method. The main objective of this paper is to track the attendance in a fast and efficient manner. The paper approaches with an idea of tracking attendance with the help of a smartphone. Wi-Fi based attendance system results in improved performance as compared to other traditional methods of attendance tracking devices.
