Abstract

In a topological superconducting wire, Majorana fermions appear as zero-energy quasiparticles and exhibit a non-locality. It has been revealed that local tunneling processes between the lead and the superconductor can be non-locally manipulated using the inherent characteristics of Majorana fermions.
