Abstract

The Noise reduction techniques with wavelet transform are widely used in non-destructive testing and evaluation (NDT&E). In this paper, a new non-destructive testing method referred to as magneto-acousto-electrical NDT was proposed. At the same time, based on fully taking into account the signal features we employ analytic wavelet thresholding method to improve the de-noising performance. The experimental results clearly demonstrate that the proposed de-noising method has good performance in terms of signal-to-noise ratio enhancement.
