Abstract

“Selective etching based on structural differences” strategy to produce hollow nanosilica (sSiO2@mSiO2), which is different from the traditional composition of the core by using structural differences rather than the silica core or mesoporous silica Shell structure to create hollow interior. We synthesized highly dispersed hollow mesoporous silica spheres with unetched sSiO2 inside, which showed high loading capacity of the anticancer drug (doxorubicin).
