Superhydrophobic Coatings: Waterborne Nonfluorinated Superhydrophobic Coatings with Exceptional Mechanical Durability Based on Natural Nanorods (Adv. Mater. Interfaces 19/2017)

Abstract

Junping Zhang and co-workers develop waterborne nonfluorinated superhydrophobic coatings with exceptional mechanical durability based on abundant natural nanorods, palygorskite, in article number 1700723. The method is totally green and the coatings feature exceptional mechanical durability against sandpaper abrasion and peeling with adhesive tape.
