PPIX-based Photodynamic Therapy Monitoring by Fluorescence Patterns

Abstract

Photodynamic Therapy provides highly specific tumor destruction. Treatment efficiency depends on the photodynamic process. Fluorescence patterns emitted by the photosensitizer contribute to treatment dosimetry guidelines and recurrence avoidance.
