On context-aware proxy in Mobile Cloud computing for emergency services

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss a new model for context-aware computing in 5G networks in the context of emergency services. Our intention is to present a new model for mobile services (mobile Web applications) that effectively harnesses the power of 5G networks. The true power of 5G networks is to enable applications that were previously not possible. In our model, we create a mirror (duplicate copy) for mobile sensing data and allow server-side processing effectively use context information during the processing. As a result, we propose a cloud-based context-aware proxy targeting proximity related applications and services.
