Abstract

The article is devoted to a topical issue of modern cities concerning clearing of the outdoor air from harmful components of motor vehicles exhaust gases and other sources of air pollution in the most polluted areas of city transport arteries.Technical solutions based on the use of cheap and readily available adsorbent, which reduce the concentration of harmful components in outdoor air by means of installing fixed and mobile street air-conditioners in the places with urban motor-vehicle transport congestions are considered.
