Abstract

SummaryThe paper describes TNO work on electroless plating over the past three years. The influence of the borogluconate complexing agent has been evaluated for alkaline and acid bath types. The possibility of improving the quality of the deposits by codeposition of antimony is indicated. With hydrazine based electroless baths, a new bath formulation is proposed which combines high deposition rates with excellent deposit properties, specially in combination with molybdenum.
