Supercontinuum generation with a wavelength tunable passively mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser

Abstract

We proposed a supercontinuum all-fiber laser, by tuning the wavelength of the pump source, a series of different output spectra with different wavelength ranges were obtained at same output power. By analyzing the spectral characteristics of the generated supercontinuum, the zero-dispersion wavelength of the photonic crystal fiber in the laser can be deduced.
