Abstract

The topology is always changing due to the high mobility of nodes in Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs). On this base, it becomes a hot topic to propose an efficient routing algorithm in this area. According to the contact of region partition and the activity degree of the nodes, this paper puts forward a spray and wait routing algorithm based on region partition and node activity (RPANA). Through simulation, it can achieve higher message delivery rate than the other Spray and Wait (SAW) routing algorithms. In the meanwhile, it has less delay as well as overhead ratio.
