Preparation of indium tin oxide (ITO) powders and high-quality ITO target

Abstract

Indium tin oxide(ITO) nanoparticles are prepared by the co-precipitation method with the material of stannic chloride andIndium metal. The effect of the ending point pH, reaction temperature, aging time, thermal oxidation temperature and time are studied. Nanoparticles analysis set up is used to measure the size and the range of nanopowders. After a serious of experiments, it is found that when the ending point pH is 8,the reaction temperature is 60℃, thermal oxidation temperature and time are400℃ and 2h respectively are the best conditions to prepare ITO nanopowders. And in those conditions, the particles show good dispersion(68nm) and a narrow sizedistribution(within 10nm). After produced ITO nanopowders, I attempt to prepare ITO target by the method of normal pressure sintering. Alth...[ Read more ]
