Abstract

Dr John Hegarty is head of the Computer Applications to Special Education (CASE) Unit at Keele University, Staffordshire, which supports the effective use of technology for people with learning difficulties through action research, consultancy and staff training. He describes robot advances which should help future school and college leavers in their daily lives.
