CuCl2-Mediated Chlorocyclization and Oxidative Aromatization Cascade

Abstract

Herein, the synthesis of various 1-azaanthraquinones via a CuCl2-promoted 6-­endo-dig chlorocyclization and subsequent oxidative aromatization of N-propargylaminoquinones is disclosed.
