Abstract

An improved design of a broadband circularly polarized slot antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) is proposed. Simulations indicate that the antenna obtains a 3-dB axial-ratio fractional bandwidth of 12.2% and a fractional 10-dB return-loss bandwidth of 60.3%, relative to the operating frequency of 1.65 GHz.
