AJARAN SOSIAL TAREKAT DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PERILAKU PENGIKUTNYA (Studi Kasus Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah di Sokaraja Banyumas)

Abstract

Tarekat should be intended to improve the degree of virtue (Ihsan) and the quality of morality and spirituality by performing rituals as it regulated. However, in this global era, many people think than tarekat tends not to respond to the progress of the world. Moreover, tarekat is made a way to avoid the mass of modern life. Ideally, tarekat should perform some changes, especially in three aspects: religious, social, and political aspects. Compared to the above phenom enon regarding tarekat, in contrast, Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Kholidiyah in Sokaraja District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java, has social teaching that influences their followers’ behavior in religious, social, and political aspects, as it has been studied in this research.
