Delay Tolerant Networks allow communication services under highly mobile and intermittent connectivity. DTNs can overcome the problem of high mobility and disconnections based on the store-carry and forward principle and releasing many copies of the same message. In this paper we model the message's propagation in epidemic routing and we derive the optimal duration that a node can holds a message for forwarding it to other relays.
