Target detection algorithm for polarimetric SAR images using GOPCE

Abstract

A new target detection algorithm based on the generalized optimization of contrast enhancement (GOPCE) is proposed in this paper. Using the measured POL-SAR data, we compare the performances of the new detector and several conventional detectors, showing the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
