Contributions to the Mediterranean-Iberoatlantic pastures (Sierra Morena Mountain, Spain). A phytosociological study is carried out on the present pastures in The Pedroches region (Mediterranean-Iberoatlantic superprovince, Marianico-Monchiquense sector). This region, located in the north of the province of Cordoba (Andalusia, Spain), is turned into pasture-ground and dedicated to the extensive cattle-raising, which constitutes the local socioeconomic base. The phytosociological methodology has allowed to identify and characterize the different associations and existing communities. For each of them flora, ecological, biogeographical and dynamics data are contributed. A model of the dynamics has been also made and could be useful in order to help to the evolution from the therophytic oligotrophical pasture to other more productive.
