BOOK-CHAPTER

Polarization and dielectric properties of ferroelectric thin films with structural transition zones

Abstract

Figure 1 shows the schematic illustration of the model of the ferroelectric thin film with STZ. Siseverally denote the lateral size and the thickness. In figure 1 (a), every pseudo-spin layer is comprised of s ( i or Jij ) square loops, and the parameter m represents the site of the each square loop, and st is the sum of the square loops in the lateral STZ, namely the sum of the transition square loops. The site of the each pseudo-spin layer is numbered by k in figure 1 (b), and E and k L= both represent the surface layers.
