Nanomedicine Technologies for Cell-based Drug Screening

Abstract

The demand is growing in the fi eld of medical diagnostics for cost effi cient and disposable devices, which demonstrate high sensitivity, reliability and simplicity. Lately, biosensors-in particular conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors-have demonstrated numerous advantages in areas related to human health, such as diagnosis of infectious disease, genetic mutations, drug discovery, forensics, and food technology, due to their simplicity and high sensitivity.
