Abstract

To solve the contradiction between the severely limited resource and the application security in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), we propose a Secure Multipath Routing Protocol (SMRP) against malicious intrusion in wireless sensor networks. In this protocol, zero-knowledge authentication is used to defend the network against Sybil attacks. Simulation results show the SMRP can provide the guide for the WSNs, and the energy consumption is lower, but the network throughput is higher.
