Dual-one-way ranging (DOWR) is widely applied in gravity field measurement missions. For DOWR applied in deep-space, this paper studies the error sources and signal processing procedure of DOWR, introduces the two-way time transfer (TWTT) method for autonomous time synchronization of DOWR, presents the structure of a K-band DOWR system integrated with an S-band TWTT system, analyzes the key technologies of DOWR based on TWTT, including the hardware and the signal processing.
