BOOK-CHAPTER

Small plant and efficient procedure for sewage treatment

Abstract

The installation of reduced dimensions for waste water treatment (Sarbu 1989, Sarbu 2005) has as purpose the execution of a construction made of plastic material which allows the placement in the location with reduced capacity of equipment required for proper operation of the machine, as well as of the components. In Figure 1 is illustrated the scheme of this plant, which includes mainly a parallelepiped tank that has on the top an access hole and has located on sides a supply pipe and a discharge pipe. The inside of the tank is subdivided in three areas that communicate between them: the inlet, aeration and respectively decantation area.
