ABSTRACT. A metal-adhered ceramic fixed-partial-prosthesis is proposed for the replacement of one or two posterior teeth. Although the pontics are metal-ceramic standard type, retainers are simplified metal inlays or onlays with undercuts as retention forms. The occlusal surfaces will be made of porcelain, that necessarily and inevitably will need adhesive cementation procedures in order to be adequately supported. They are aesthetic fixed partial prosthesis, of less invasive preparations of the teeth for anchorage, especially indicated when the pillars are sound or have suffered minor structure loss.
