ChemInform Abstract: O,O‐Dialkyl (N,N′‐Diphenylformamidinyl)‐ and O‐Alkyl (N,N′‐Diphenylformamidinio)phosphonates.

Abstract

Abstract Diphenylcarbodiimide (I) reacts with the trimethylsilyl dialkyl phosphites (II) to form the adducts (III) which are desilylated in the presence of the corresponding alkanols (IV) to give the phosphonates (V).
