ChemInform Abstract: Oxidation of 1,2‐Alkadienephosphinic Acids Under Todd‐Atherton Reaction Conditions.

Abstract

Abstract Regardless of the substituents, the allenephosphinic acids (I) are oxidized by carbon tetrachloride (II) under Todd‐Atherton reaction conditions, giving the corresponding phosphonates (III).
