ZnFe2O4 Leaves Grown on TiO2 Trees Enhance Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting

Abstract

Inspection of Figure 2 reveals that the reference spectra of TiO 2 controls in Figure 2C and Figure 2D are in fact the same, suggesting that the same column of data had in error been plotted twice, even though these correspond to different spectral regions (the Zn region from 1015-1050 eV in the case of C, and the Fe region 705-740 eV in the case of D).The authors reviewed the archived original data which they had collected in March 2015.Indeed, they had unintentionally plotted the same spectrum for the TiO 2 control sample in Figure 2C and2D.The data showed that Figure 2D was the one in error. In the corrected version below, the authors have kept Figure 2C unchanged, and have plotted Figure 2D so that it uses the correct data set for the TiO 2 control sample. The authors apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
