Key Processing of SPARQL-to-SQL Query Rewriting

Abstract

How to efficiently implement the SPARQL-to-SQL query rewriting has became a serious problem in getting access to the Semantic Web dynamically. The paper aims at solution on achieving the SPARQL-to-SQL query rewriting. First, the paper describes the building of the RDF for the relational database. Then, it talks about the construction of the basic framework of SPARQL-to-SQL query rewriting based on RDF views, which covers the key technologies of SPARQL-to-SQL query rewriting in rewriting the SPARQL statements to SQL statements through establishing a series of processes: the SPARQL query model graph, and SPARQL query mapping graph. Thirdly, the paper touches the query result from relational database with generated SQL statements. Finally, the paper finds a satisfactory result for customers with RDF data in returning the query results.
