Traffic Light Discoloration in Cremated Bones

Abstract

Pink, green and yellow discoloration were noted in certain human bones following cremation. It is suggested that the probability is that the pink discoloration is due to copper, the green discoloration to iron and the yellow discoloration due to zinc.
