Experimental Demonstration of OpenFlow-based Control Architecture for Lightpath Provisioning in Co-existing Fixed/Flexible Grid Optical Networks

Abstract

An OpenFlow-based control architecture for lightpath provisioning in co-existing fixed/flexible grid optical networks is proposed and deployed experimentally to verify the extensions of OpenFlow protocols in this paper.
